I have a question for you: Is your website actually unfinished, or are you just afraid to show it to people?
In the final weeks of the Build Phase, I see a common pattern. Founders start obsessing over tiny details. They change the font size. They rewrite the bio for the 10th time. They look for reasons to delay.
They call it “quality control.” I call it fear.
Perfectionism is a shield. If you never finish, you can never fail. But if you never finish, you can also never succeed.
As we approach the end of the Build Phase in our program, we enforce a strict rule: Done is better than perfect.
Your first version won’t be your final version. But you cannot improve a product that is still sitting on your hard drive. The market can’t give you feedback on something they can’t see.
It is time to stop tweaking and prepare to open the doors.
